The gilding on the ormolu has mellowed over the years to timeworn perfection.

It now has the hue of antique silver or perhaps pewter.It may polish up but looks perfect just as it is.

The glass is intact and has all the imperfections and bubbles that one would expect.

The frame has a supporting back rest and this is sturdy.

We have placed a copy of some sheet music in the frame which we will leave in it.

The frame measures 20 cm (8 inches) high x 12 cm (4.75 inches) wide x 10 cm (4 inches) deep (while standing).
